Le Petit Depart Cycle Sportive We are back on Sunday 1st June 2025 with 2 fantastic rides through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales! Entry to the event is now closed.

Le Petit Depart cycling sportive around the fabulous Yorkshire Dales is back for 2022 on the 5th June! Highly successful over the past 6 years with over 3400 riders taking part, this year is again looking like a cracker. It celebrates the very best cycling the Yorkshire Dales has to offer and follows much of the Tour de France 2014 Stage 1 route. Starting from Skipton, Le Petit Depart 2022 offers two fantastic routes to cater for all abilities. There is a scenic ride with 38 miles on one of Skipton Cycling Club’s favourite routes as well as the old favourite “80 miler”. Both rides start and finish at the “Event HQ” at Craven Cattle Mart.

We will be processing all refunds - including deferred entries this week.

This is Chris Cundell with his LPD Buff 5100 metres up the Baltoro glacier whilst trekking in Pakistan to the K2 base camp!
