Hey Skipton! 👋

As we get busy planning the festival, we want to start making some noise - visually! 🎶📸

We’re launching a fun little photo challenge to help spread the word about Skipton Live, and we need our incredible local community to get involved 💪

We’re looking for the most creative photos of musical instruments taken right here in our gorgeous town. Whether it's a flute framed by the Yorkshire Dales backdrop, a drumkit in a local pub, or a tiny harmonica perched on a canal barge, we want to see your artistic vision.

Not only will you be helping us put Skipton Live on the map, but the creator of our favourite, most inventive photo will win an exciting festival prize! 🤩

🎉 BIG NEWS… introducing Skipton Live Music Festival 2026! 🎶

We’re thrilled to launch a brand new two-day celebration of live music, showcasing amazing local talent with a focus on original music-making.

📍 Craven Arts Centre, Skipton Ampitheatre & Canal Basin
🗓 Friday 28th & Saturday 29th August 2026

🎵 Live music all day and into the evening
🌟 A spotlight on original music by incredible local artists and bands
