A SEALY BIG thank you and well done to every athlete, volunteer (especially in the fresh January weather!), team member, event partners and our hosts at Butlin's and Skegness Water Leisure Park static caravan owners group for today's Skegness 10k !

It's a late one for us, so we will be back with more photos and more thank you's over the week.. a quick cheeky extra thanks for the 'hundreds and hundreds of towels!'

The towels got dropped off today to our Seal chums at Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary (look at them baby seal faces!)
Have an amazing evening and if you're too excited about all things running then were back next with our rather awesome fun adventure race on the 29th of March just over in North Lincolnshire ... and then the rest of the year looks like this (with more to be revealed!)

Hey all, well we're busy getting set for tomorrow's Skegness 10k!

The seagull onesies have been washed (well we've aired em!) and we busy packing up x

Final info email went out this week and we've popped highlights below to help get you amazing athletes ready for a day of 10k glory 😀

Start time is 11:00 and registration opens at 09:00.
Make sure you're here by 10:45 as we will be closing up entrance to the site ready for the run!

* KNOW YOUR NUMBER help make for a super speedy number collection you'll find this in the link above

* PICK UP YOUR NUMBER & PRE-ORDERED T-SHIRTS right next to the start line in the Pig & Whistle from 09:00. We will have some spare t-shirts for sale and were there with our pop up shop (you can see that here: https://runninggifts.com

*WERE NOW OUT OF OFFICE.... packing vans moving cones and snacking 😀 so you should find any answers you need in the information pack

*ITS A BUSY DAY! It's going to be a super busy day, so plan to arrive nice and early, parking will be managed by our team so please pay attention to instructions and be nice! And car share as much as possible :)

*CAR PARKING IS AT A PREMIUM and on site is a combination of a main (normal) car park and us utilising the caravan park. This means you park up in the caravan parking space (like turning up on holiday). Please dont park on any grass and just park in the individual spaces next to the caravans. Car share where you can and check out the informaiton pack as you can also choose to go into Ingoldmells or Skegness and utilise the local parking, perfect for a pre-run warm up as they are between 750 and 1km away (10 mins walk) Some car parking spots we can't release you until the runners clear through ... so be patient, grab a brew and cheer em on!

Seal Appeal!

Hey Skegness 10k runners, we need your towels 😁

Our sealy chums would like our athletes to bring spare (clean) towels to the Skegness 10k next weekend to be donated to our Seal Sanctuary buddies 😍

Simply drop at registration and we will get them to those seals in towel based need!

We assume they are used for the seals to pretend to be beach based seal superheros! but whatever they are used for, seals are great and they can have whatever they want !

ps: information pack with all the updated details will be email out and updated on the website by the end of the week ... but check the website page and it will still give you most of the details you'll need 😀

Hey Skegness 10k runners, one week today!

It's time for what you really want for Christmas!

Next Sunday we've got our big Christmas Day at Normanby Hall Country Park (over on North Lincolnshire)

Santa has got the following all ready for...

The runners, we've got the Great Sprout Scuttle 5k & 10k Trail run!

The families, friends or festive adventurers, we've have themed Pyjama Express 3k in the grounds of the hall with cookies, hot chocolate, candy canes and hot chocolate stations as you go!

The people looking to entertain the crowds, we have eight fundraising teams taking part in the Santa Super Sleigh Challenge (after the sprout and before Jim Jams. They'll be taking on around a mile (ish) as a team of reindeers pulling (or pushing) Santa to the North Pole!

Entries will close up ahead of the day, no on the day entries and some waves etc are either full or getting close to full 🙂

Yay, it’s tshirt arrival day 🙂

With our friendly Seals 🦭 (that don't look anything like a friendly version of the Mitchell brothers from Eastenders, shout out to all the 90's peeps!)

Hi Skegness 10k athletes, so some of you may have a bit of a 'shock' moment when you went to enter the event this week and it showed as full!

Don't worry it's not full, but a high level international computer problem caused us issues... we forgot to change the number on the extra spaces after we secured more parking 😀

It does mean we are now past last years entries and have less than 150 spots left now, so if that shocks some of you ... then we apologise for you becoming shocked 😗

Have an amazing evening, and if you manage to sneak a night time run in ... then 'go you'!

Skegness 10k flashback time !

Over 700 athletes now entered for the event on the 25th of January (this time last year we had 0 entered!)

As always, a huge thank you to our many volunteer photographers who rock up and help capture many amazing moments of your adventures … and those more ‘snotty and grimacing moments’
