🌈 HAPPY PRIDE MONTH 🌈

From all of us at East Coast Pride, we want to wish our incredible LGBTQIA+ community, allies, friends and families a very Happy Pride Month.

Pride is more than rainbow flags and celebrations. It is a reminder of the courage, resilience and determination of those who fought for the rights and freedoms many of us enjoy today. Pride began as a protest, born from a community that refused to stay silent in the face of discrimination and injustice.

This month, we celebrate how far we've come, but we also recognise there is still work to do. Around the world, many LGBTQIA+ people continue to face barriers, prejudice and inequality simply for being themselves.

At East Coast Pride, we believe everyone deserves to live authentically, love freely and be accepted for who they are. Our Pride is built on community, visibility, education and support, creating safe spaces where everyone belongs.

Whether you're loud and proud, still finding your voice, an ally standing beside us, or someone searching for a place to belong, you are welcome here. You are valued. You are part of our community.

This Pride Month, let's celebrate our diversity, honour our history, support one another and continue building a future where everyone can thrive.
