The bands yesterday were incredible, I have been lucky to have played in numerous bands over the last 45 years or so, but the standard yesterday was just superb. As a festival we are so lucky to get such amazing musicians.

Massive thank you to all our helpers for Sherborne Summer Festival you were amazing. With Andrew, Victoria, Geoff and Heidi on gates, Paul and Helen who came up from Poole to help, litter pick and sort bins etc.
We also had Lori with David on Raffle all day whilst also liasing with Security. Also helping out backstage was Kiran, getting and gear from cars to stage helped also by Adam from Microlight who also allowed so many bands to use his drum kit.
What else can we say but thank you to everyone who helped clean up, donated to the buckets and just had a fantastic time.
Mustn't forget our great compere Steve Bennett.
Not a single complaint which was a testament to how well behaved everyone was.

Putting on a festival is not an easy job, and it’s harder when you make it a free event to all. However the rewards of smiling faces, busy town and the general feelgood it gives everyone is priceless.
However without the generosity of Sherborne Council, Sherborne Chamber of trade and the wonderful businesses of Sherborne it would be impossible. Time and again these wonderful local businesses have advertised and supported us each year despite such rising costs to themselves.
I would like to offer a huge thank you to each and every advertiser/supporter/sponsor from all of us on the Sherborne Summer Festival team.
Every programme is a tribute to those that have helped, so please, take one home and keep it as a directory of businesses for you to support.
Also a huge thank you to everyone who donated.
