Sherborne Fire Station Three Peaks Challenge Sherborne Fire Station take on The Three Peaks challenge to raise money for The Firefighters Charity and Movember UK.

The challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours and 23 miles in total.

And theyโ€™ve done it!! ๐ŸŽ‰

The team from Sherborne Fire Station have just completed the 3 Peaks Challenge in an unbelievable time of 23 hours and 25 minutes and have smashed their target time of 24 hours even with traffic delays ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

The final mountain was completed in 3 hours and 25 minutes, making it in time to see the sunrise ๐ŸŒ…

We would just like to say a HUGE thank you to Sam and Jess from Climb Snowdonia who have guided us throughout the challenge and we certainly wouldnโ€™t have been able to do it without all of your knowledge and support throughout the whole process โค๏ธ

We would love to hit our final target for Movember UK, who are a fantastic charity who are raising awareness for menโ€™s mental health, su***de prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

Since 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 menโ€™s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up menโ€™s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

The team are absolutely smashing it and mountain number 2๏ธโƒฃ was completed in 3 hours and 5 minutes ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

They are now on their way to the final mountain, Snowdonia in Wales where they be will climbing throughout the night and reaching the summit hopefully in time for sunrise ๐ŸŒ…

For the final climb, they will be joined by Jess from Climb Snowdonia and Andy who has been driving and getting them to all of their destinations.

They have also reached their target of ยฃ1500 for The Fire Fighters Charity which is incredible so thank you to everyone who has shared our posts, and donated ๐ŸŽ‰

They are half way to their target for Movember UK and we know they would be over the moon to reach this by the time they finish tomorrow morning so please please please keep sharing and donating if you can.

The team are now working their way back down Ben Nevis and will then be travelling to Scafell Pike in England for the next part of the challenge ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

And there off!! ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

The team from Sherborne Fire Station have officially started their charity event and will spend the next 24 hours completing the Three Peaks Challenge with the help and guidance from Climb Snowdonia ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

They will be walking a total distance of 23 miles with a total ascent is 3064 metres.

Updates on how the guys are getting on will be posted throughout the day so keep your eyes peeled ๐Ÿ‘€

There are just three days to go until a group of Fire Fighters from Sherborne under take the National Three Peaks Challenge Sherborne Fire Station Three Peaks Challenge

They are raising money for two fantastic charities, The Fire Fighters Charity and Movember UK

We have been following along with the guys and they have put a huge amount of effort into training for this challenge. Sam felt he better go for a run or he won't be able to keep up with the guys. For May alone, Sam has run 77km with 3550m+ of ascent. Hopefully he will be alright ๐Ÿ˜„
