The Shefford Community Festival starts tomorrow! I'll add a link to the full programme in the comments below, but spoiler alert, there's a lot going on in Shefford over the next 10 days or so, starting with...
โญBoard games for teens tomorrow afternoon at Shefford House from 4.30 - 5.30pm
โญCafe Hub drop-in event at Shefford Community Hall from 10am until 3pm with with a range of events, displays and sales tables plus rolling presentations onscreen. Refreshments (tea/coffee/ pre wrapped biscuits / snacks) available throughout the day.
โญ6am - 1pm is the Friday market, and I hear that The Fruit and Veg Stall is back, which is fabulous news!
โญAnd at 5pm there is the official opening ceremony outside Be Our Guest Palace with the Shefford Town Council mayor and a beautiful princesses from Be Our Guest Palace.
โญThen on Saturday we have the Shefford Community Market with many fabulous stalls selling artisan food, crafts and more, including our longest running stall Franklins of Thorncote (Farm Shop) - who has been coming for nearly 20 years! Trading is from 9am until 1pm, and we have La Piazza By Signorelli's serving their fabulous Roman sourdough pizza, arancini balls and dirty fries!
โญIn the library they're holding a Community Day with Plastic Free Shefford, Shefford Historical Society, Good Neighbours plus others.
โญIn St Michael and All Angels Church Shefford there is a Community Cafรฉ - come for a chat and a hot drink. Biscuits and cake (often home made) too. Youโll be very welcome!
โญThere is a Fun Day at the Methodist Church, to include: a mini golf, bead keyrings, hook the duck, tombola, refreshments and craft activities. Most activities free. Refreshments and raffles extra. Donations welcome.
โญPlus later in the day there will be Scarecrow Making at the Baptist Church - come and make a scarecrow to add to their display for the Scarecrow trail! All materials provided.
