Laying the groundwork for the night is Cimmerian.

A producer since his teens, Cimmerian pivoted to techno three years ago and co-founded Fixate to give the sound a proper home in Sheffield. His sets move between bouncy, rolling Australian-style hardgroove and driving European heat - think Lucas Boston and 6SENSE colliding with the darker, hypnotic pull of Anne and Lars Huismann.

For this one, expect him to open with a darker, Berlin-leaning energy, groove woven through from the first record.

Over in the bar this Friday we’ve called in Sheffield’s house heavyweights Flock to keep the bar moving with some serious selections.

Flock is an independent party project born out of the need to keep moving via intimate woodland parties during the 2020 lockdown. Since bringing the dance into Sheffield’s best venues they’ve thrown it down with the likes of Sally C, Horsemeat Disco, Inland Knights & Demi Riquísimo to name a few.

On Friday night, residents Gross Rodriguez and Jord Guest will be on till the early hours of the morning. Expect house music from across the spectrum and the very best of it.

We’re now in the run up to Bailey’s arrival on Friday and we’re seriously excited for it. We’re onto final release today, and as a reminder this is a limited capacity show so grab yours before it’s too late.

We’re one week away from our party with Fixate bringing Bailey Ibbs to Sheffield, and we couldn’t be more excited - this is shaping up to be an intense start to the season for us.

Tresor resident & renowned producer Bailey Ibbs has become a household name in techno, with a visionary approach that seamlessly blends techno, breaks, and rave music. His releases demonstrate an ever-evolving interpretation of the genre that manages to push boundaries forward to new and innovative territories all whilst maintaining his distinct, high-energy sound.

Alongside Bailey, we’ve called in INKLING GIRLZ for support, as well as Flock to handle the bar duties - all in addition to residents from both ALGORHYTHM and Fixate. We’re very excited to be bringing some of the best of Sheffield house and techno all under one roof next Friday.

Next Friday, ahead of Bailey Ibbs, we’ve called in Shared Frequencies’ residents INKLING GIRLZ.

A dynamic duo blending Sheffield energy with London rhythm, INKLING GIRLZ deal in hardgroove, boogie, and funk-leaning anthems; high-energy, feel-good grooves built to get a room moving from the first record. Since last year, these two have been powering dance floors across Sheffield: from Southbank to Hazy.

On the close next Friday we have a very special joining of camps, with ALGORHYTHM’s Harrison & Fixate’s Move Elusive coming together to close the night off.

As a resident and the curator behind ALGORHYTHM, Harrison has quickly become known for his explorative approach to techno. His sets are rooted in an appreciation for the genre’s multifaceted sound, with deep-hitting percussion, driving rhythm, and fluid movement between the deeper and more forceful edges of the sound.

Drawing heavy inspiration from the many parties down at Hope Works since 2012, Move Elusive is known for eclectic sets spanning hardgroove, techno, breaks, & more. As a founder and resident of Fixate, Move Elusive has consistently delivered high-energy sets, supporting the likes of DJ Plant Texture.

Tickets have been moving well for this one and we’re excited to bring you a closing set between two of the minds behind Sheffield’s current underground. Don’t miss out.

Leading the charge on Friday 18th of September is none other than the UK’s very own Bailey Ibbs.

Bailey plays a crucial role in helping shape the landscape of contemporary techno and electronic music. Spanning across all fields of DJing, producing, and curating with his own label Night Service, he showcases a visionary approach that seamlessly blends elements of techno, breaks, and rave music.

Having dedicated years to exploring and experimenting with sound, Ibbs made his entrance into the Techno scene in 2022 with the release of his ‘Volta EP’, which garnered the attention of heavyweights such as DVS1, Ben Klock & Marron. Building on this success, Ibbs continued to make significant contributions for KiNK, Token, HATE, and SLAM. His presence has become solidified on the global circuit alongside another impressive release, ‘Not Into It EP,’ on Night Service in 2023.

In 2024, Bailey has been unveiled as a resident at the iconic Tresor, poised to continue evolving and refining his distinctive sound. As a passionate follower of the music’s history, Ibbs harbors no inclination for nostalgia. Instead, he has immersed himself in the legacy of techno, fully committed to propelling it into new and innovative territories.

We’re very excited to welcome Bailey back to Sheffield, and we just know you’re going to love what he has in store for us.

On Friday 18th of September ALGORHYTHM and Fixate join forces for a night of full throttle techno at Sidney & Matilda, joined by none other than Bailey Ibbs.

Having spent years exploring and experimenting with his sound, Bailey Ibbs entered the techno scene in 2022 with the release of his ‘Volta EP’, which garnered the attention of heavyweights such as DVS1, Ben Klock, and MARRØN. Fast forward to today, as the curator of his own label ‘Night Service’ and a resident of the legendary Tresor, Bailey continues to evolve and refine his sound with each release & performance. We’re very excited to be bringing him to Sheffield.

Supporting Bailey is Shared Frequencies’ INKLING GIRLZ, who bring the same heavy, floor-oriented energy to the mix . Expect deep, rhythm-driven selections built to keep the floor moving.

Joining them on the bill are two b2bs bringing both camps together: ALGORHYTHM’s Harrison, known for an explorative approach built on deep-hitting percussion, driving rhythm, and a fluid pull between the deeper and more forceful edges of techno, goes b2b with Fixate’s Move Elusive to bring an energy built on deep groove and relentless, hard-hitting techno. Alongside them, Fixate Residents Olórin and Cimmerian go b2b bringing the bouncy hardgoove techno that’s become a signature of the collective.

Over in the bar, we’ve called in Flock for some no-nonsense house. Residents Gross Rodriguez & Jord Guest will be on selections from 10pm-1am.

With an emphasis on sound, space, and atmosphere, ALGORHYTHM is a raw core of Sheffield’s underground scene - delivering uncompromising, Berlin-inspired club experiences through low capacity parties with high fidelity sound. Fixate sits on the energetic, party-honed end of underground techno - bouncy fast-paced hardgrooves built for maximum dancefloor intensity. Two crews both strongly rooted in Sheffield’s underground, all under one roof for one night only.
