Cosmic Vibration Festival

Cosmic Vibration Festival Sidney and Matilda Sheffield 29/30.08.26
Food On-site all day by What is Cosmic Vibration? Cosmic Vibration Festival was born.

This start-up festival will showcase two stages, over two days, of the best underground music around. Each stage is dedicated to three legendary personalities from Sheffield who unfortunately passed away in recent years. Anthony Allen, Alexis Gott, and Martin Bedford, they were all contributors to Sheffield's ever-growing underground music and art scenes. They left behind a city shaped by their in

fluence, and this festival is a tribute to them. We are grateful to them for showing us the way. This project started many moons ago whilst attending Bristol's Temples Festival. Two school friends who reconnected after arriving at the festival wearing the same denim jacket with the same "Graveyard" coffin back patch. After hours of conversation about life, music, psychedelia, passion, expression, and all things heavy, the seed was planted...
The name was borrowed several years later from a track by the NYC psychedelic/folk band Foxygen, that Danny heard in 2014. One line from the song, "I put my mind into the ocean," stayed with him for years until he had a revelation while tripping on mushrooms in 2020... He decided to create a trippy party that catered to heavy music fans and lovers of psychedelic nostalgia...
Cosmic Vibration became a series of nights, gigs, and parties across Sheffield and later, would evolve into a two-day festival, deeply rooted in occult mysticism and pagan belief in the old gods' and their ability to manipulate the vibrational energy of the cosmos. The festival is a tribute to the bohemian way of life, counterculture, and the absurdism of the "tune in, drop out" generation. The organizers reached out to their favourite bands and artists to create a magical weekend of the absolute most killer underground music. The festival is a collaboration with "Orange Amplification" and will feature an incredible array of local and international artists from countries such as the UK, France, Germany, the US, and the Netherlands. The venue has a capacity of 400 people, which we believe will maintain a personal touch to the entire event, whilst still being busy and financially successful. The festival is a DIY, home-grown spectacle that aims to grow exponentially. Our team is constantly reinventing ideas and potential for growth. By 2026, our goal is to take the festival outdoors, with two large stages, a campsite, a craft and flea/car boot-styled market on site, and food and beverage markets supporting local small independents and well-known businesses that share our values. Our core model is simple: we strive to put hard-working, honest independents in the same arena as big players. We believe that everyone deserves the best opportunities to reach as many people as possible, whether they are artists, musicians, bands, craftspeople, or small businesses. Our team has over 30 years of experience in the industry, and our endorsement and continuing support from Orange Amplification, one of the world's most recognisable guitar amp companies, is a testimony to our abilities to provide consistently and understand the ever-changing world in which we find ourselves. We are not profit-driven and believe in close-knit communities with open, honest agendas, shared ideology, and clear and concise communication. We have no issue having a busker from the street open for a band that sells out the Leadmill or having a cosy little vegan coffee start-up pitch next to one of the big players. Our stalls will be capped and affordable, and our tickets will be realistic and fair. Our mentality will be to scratch each other's backs. We want to take festivals back to their roots but reinvent them for the modern world. Love, unity, togetherness, shared interests, music, art, and craft are what we stand for. This festival is for Sheffield, in Sheffield, by Sheffield. It will put Sheffield back on the map as a place for youth culture, creatives, and entrepreneurs to inspire the city's future generations and potential positive investment. Madmess!!
Cosmic Vibration Festival!!
28th/29th/30th of Aug 2026 Sheffield UK
Formed in 2017 in Porto, Madmess slowly but steadily carved their place in the European heavy psych underground scene.

After their ST/EP released in 2019, the band released their first full length album Rebirth in 2021, via Hassle Records (UK), which deepened their language and expanded their dynamic range in the realm of heavy psych rock. Thick riffs, steady grooves and long breathing structures, defined a record that felt built to last. A statement of a band that honours the roots of the genre but refuses to be trapped by its rules.

The evolution continues with The Third Coming, the band’s most recent record. Released via Glory or Death (USA), Kozmik Artifactz/ gig.ROCKS! (EU), the record carries Madmess further down their path. Songs like Death by Astonishment and Hazy Morning move with confidence and clarity, embracing classic rock spirit while keeping a psychedelic edge, sharp and alive.

Their live intensity and uncompromising sound took them to some of the scene’s most respected european festivals, including Arctangent (UK), Sonic Blast (PT), Sonic Whip (NL), Freak Valley (DE), Krach am Bach (DE), Hoflaerm Open Air (DE), as well as some of Europe's biggest showcase festivals like Monkey Week (ES), Reeperbahn (DE) and Viva Sounds (SW) in 2025.

Gravekvlt! Cosmic Vibration Festival 2026

28th/29th/30th August Sheffield UK.

Dirty nasty & catchy, Gravekvlt’s sound is an impious brew of black metal,
d-beat punk, old school death metal and a lot of rock’n’roll. The 4 guys from Nantes
(France) just mix everything they love, creating an alternate reality where the 80’s
extreme metal forefathers would have admitted listening to coldwave and hard rock.
Without getting stuck in one particular subgenre but always consistent, Gravekvlt
sticks to their owns personal version of speed and darkness… Get ready for a ride in a
ghost train smelling like old tomb, dried blood and burnt amplifiers !
FFO : Venom, Devil Master, Motörhead, Midnight
Evil Speed Metal Punk / Black’n’Roll

Since their surprise arrival on the european scene in 2022, Gravekvlt established
themselves as a solid live staple, by performing high-energy and sincere shows.
Equally rockin’ on major metal festivals’ stages (Hellfest/Motocultor/Rock In
Bourlon/Tyrant Fest in France, Chaos Descends in Germany, Metal Magic in Denmark
or Summer Dying Loud in Poland, to name a few) than in club shows in the depths of
the underground, the band counts more than 60 shows in 10 countries, in only 3 years
of performing.
After 2 european tours in 2025, Gravekvlt shows no signs of slowing down for 2026,
with already planned appearances in Netherlands, Portugal and UK

**SATURDAY DAY TICKETS HAVE SOLD OUT! WE HAVE A HANDFUL OF WEEKEND TICKETS LEFT, Sunday days are still up for grabs**

The Cosmic Vibration is almost here!! and it's ready to ripple through the City of Steel. Are you?

Here are a few important details to help you get the most out of the weekend:

Venue: Sidney & Matilda
46 Sidney Street, Sheffield, S1 4RH

Centrally located in the city's heart, Sidney & Matilda is just a short walk from the train station. Please note that the venue is close to a football stadium, which will host a match on Saturday — the city is expected to be particularly busy, so plan your travel accordingly.

The surrounding area is full of great spots to explore, including shops, coffee houses, record stores, and hidden gems to discover between sets.

Opening Times:
Doors open at 12 PM each day.
Afterparties will continue into the early hours — we’ve got your weekend covered from start to finish.

Food:
Our friends at Hash House will be on-site throughout the event, serving up quality food to keep you fuelled all weekend.

Parking:
There is a pay-and-display car park located directly next to the venue. Weekend parking is available.

A Special Note:
We’re proud to be hosting this year’s edition at Sidney & Matilda, recently awarded Venue of the Year by Exposed Magazine. You're in excellent hands.

Due to the layout of the venue, we have decided the best way to ease the flow of people between the stages, is to stagger the bands. We understand that we said this wouldn't happen, but as we have hit capacity of the venue, we have had to consider the way people move between stages.
So thank you for your understanding.

We can’t wait to welcome you to a weekend packed with energy, community, and unforgettable music. Bring your best self — it’s going to be a truly riffin’ ride.
