A bit of a crowd this morning on by

There's now a blue plaque in honour of Gordon Banks OBE who was the goalkeeper of the 1966 winning FIFA world cup side for England!
He was born right here!

Exciting morning on today... were asked by Sheffield Home of Football if they would be happy to have a blue plaque in honour of Gordon Banks OBE - goalkeeper in the 1966 winning fifa World Cup Side for England. His birthplace was just behind the tearoom. The unveiling took place this morning with local dignitaries plus Nick Banks of (his nephew)
