A brief description of Infinity

Every single thing
Is a bit of
Everything.
It constitutes a portion
Of the sum of totality;
Paints a little contribution
To the picture
Called
‘Infinity.’

So:
Picture endlessness
Now go on -
Now add on what’s beyond
– on and on
And on and on.

Into the never-ending night
On beyond,
In ever-increasing distances.
Up – to where – what is past the sky –
Is not even a beginning.

Down – take away the bottom of
Gravity
And keep falling
in
Vertiginous obedience –
Forever.

Forward – anticipating an end
That can only
Always
Fail to arrive.

Retrace to a start point
That never began to commence.

Thought - never reaching its conclusion -
Always screaming ‘I can’t!’
Forever.

The No-point one cannot expand any more -
And all its sum parts are
Insufficient …..
And all implodes.

Beyond this –
The implosion is witnessed…
And the witness also
And also the witness.

F--k Me

I’ve so many doubts
And I‘ve so many fears
Afraid that I’ll be boring you
Boring you to tears.
Afraid you’ll be a bore to me
The only thing I know
Is I’m afraid - afraid of me - afraid of letting go.

F--k me
How frustrating
If only I could be
A little less of others
A little more of me.
