I am tentatively looking for a loaner for Bear

Ex 2*eventer but now enjoying a quieter life. Absolute sweetheart on the ground, and loves to be pampered and cuddled.

Would suit a competent rider wanting to hack or dressage. He could also do a bit of local veteran showing

Looking for an adult rider who is mature, responsible and compassionate. He very special and it would need to be the right person for him and for me.

5* yard near Selby, with both indoor and outdoor schools. Close to Manor Grange and Port Royal.

Available 3 or 4 days per week.
Maximum rider weight limit 11st.
Call Liz 07774132170

Financial contribution or yard help required.

Sometimes bit fitting isn’t about “fixing a problem” — it’s about refining communication as the horse learns and develops.

This lovely new partnership showed no major concerns, resistance, or discomfort signs during assessment, but a small refinement was made to support clarity, softness, and education as they continue progressing together.

The right bit setup should allow the horse to confidently understand the rider’s aids, not just “cope” with them. Small changes early on can make a big difference to long-term way of going, balance, and confidence in the contact. ✨

Not every appointment ends with a dramatic change — and that’s a good thing. Sometimes confirmation that everything is working well, with a few educated refinements, is exactly what horse and rider need.

📍Ridden assessments available through IUVO Equine

It is with deep sadness that I share the passing of my beloved Nana, Doreen, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday morning. 💔

Many of you will remember her from the café here— not just for the tea and chats, but for her big personality, and of course her cheese and chips. She was cheeky, full of life, and never afraid to speak her mind. That was just who she was, and everyone who met her will know exactly what I mean.

She had a way of making people laugh, feel welcome, and sometimes even putting them in their place — all with that unmistakable spark that made her so special.

We will miss her more than words can ever say.

Thank you to everyone who knew and loved her. Please keep our family in your thoughts at this difficult time. ❤️
