The Zipheads play Rock'n'Roll infused with punk, taking influence from the founding fathers of the 1950s like Little Richard and Chuck Berry, via the punk and new wave heroes of the 70s such as The Clash and Elvis Costello, along the way encompassing surf, swing, soul, country, folk, ska and reggae as well as most other types of music you could care to imagine into the mix.
To date, they have released 3 full-length albums, one instrumental EP and a handful of singles and have performed live at venues and festivals all over the UK and Europe as well as appearances in the USA.
They are supported by Suburban Toys, an original punk ska band from Lincoln.
This is part of Music Venue Trust's Everywhere At Once Festival. Taking place on what would have been the Glastonbury Festival weekend of June 26 to 28, 2026, hundreds of Grassroots Music Venues across the country will unite for Everywhere At Once. For one extraordinary weekend, venues from Inverness to Penzance will host hundreds of major artists, touring acts and the most exciting emerging local talent in the spaces that have launched generations of musicians. This will enable audiences to experience a diverse, curated programme of live music in the intimate rooms that are the heartbeat of their neighbourhoods.
