The Sandy 10

Plenty of enquiries this past week - but just to confirm, I’m afraid The Sandy 10 will not be taking place in 2026. Yep, we know it’s been a while. Sadly a stretch of our route that takes place on open roads has seen serious road collisions in recent times, including fatalities, and as things stand we simply cannot stage the race on the course entrants have been accustomed to. We’ll keep looking for a suitable and safe alternative route, but in the meantime, enjoy your running in the year ahead!

These are provisional, and congratulations to Simon Ashton, our third-placed finisher who kicked so hard he beat the timing antennae!

As a result (pardon the pun), his time isn’t currently to be found at the above link. He was given his time and his third-place award at Race HQ. We shall update and reshuffle the full standings accordingly.

RACE DAY TIMINGS
7.45am: Race HQ opens (please bear with us if you arrive before this - we have tons to set up)
8am: recommended arrival for space in main car park
8.30am: recommended latest arrival at HQ (as in already parked) for number pick-up
9.15am: stragglers still at HQ must move to the start
9.30am: RACE STARTS!
11.45am: awards presentation

Entries are now completely closed - there will be none on the day
