Tonight, Tuesday 5th August, Sandbach Folk Club will be meeting in the Wheatsheaf at 8pm. We will also be at the Wheatsheaf on Tuesdays 19th and 26th August.

Because of many people being away there will be no Sandbach Folk Club on 24th June. Our next folk club in Sandbach will be on 1st July.

On Tuesday 17th June and Tuesday 24th June the folk club will be meeting in the Swan and Chequers at 8pm. Depending on how successful these evenings are, a decision will then be made regarding future venues in the town.

After our long long association with The Market Tavern in Sandbach (since 2007) we are sorry to report it is now closed. The landlords, Kevin and Steve, have decided to move on and we wish them all the best for the future. We've enjoyed some great musical evenings over the years and thank them for all their support. As for Sandbach Folk Club we will need to look for a new home on Tuesday nights. We will provide updates in due course.

Sandbach Folk Club continues to meet on Tuesday nights at the Market Tavern at 8pm. An eclectic mix of folk and country, pop and blues classics from the 60s and 70s, contemporary, jazz, swing and 1930s showtime, instrumentals and poems. All acoustic. £1 on the door, all welcome. Come to play, sing or just to listen.

Because of football our room at the Market Tavern will not be available for us next Tuesday 25th June. Consequently, we will not be holding our usual folk club on this date. Our next session will be 2nd July.
