The Royal Charter granted by King Edward I in 1280 to allow Winsford to host an annual four day will be read in 6 days time..... Hope you can make it 😊 The four day Fun Fair by Sharlands Fun Fair's taking place on the Church Street Car Park from next Thursday 17th September upholds this tradition

Winsford Salt Fair 2026

Remember what it's all about folk.....King Edward I granting Winsford an annual four day Fair as written in 1280. This Fair as per this Royal Charter said that this Fair will be the four days that follow the closest Wednesday to the 14th September each year, so that's why this year's dates are Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th September.

The main Royal Charter Fair will be held on Church Street Car Park (17th - 20th September) :
