Hi all

Apologies for the lack of updates, but as you’ve probably gathered, due to Covid-19 this years event has not able to go ahead.

Some of us are planning a back ride, which we’d like to raise funds for The Christie.

I’ll share the JustGiving link as and when we’ve got some willing victims and a date.

In light of yesterday’s press release from the ECB which recommended all forms of recreational Cricket activity are suspended, it’s looking rather unlikely that we will be able to host the annual Charity day in 2020.

That being said, we will continue to monitor the ever changing situation and any updates with regards to ECB directives and keep that ever hopeful date in the diary.

We’ll have two teams, food, beer and a PA system ready to go within a months notice or less will give us every chance to play, on the proviso the suspension is lifted.

From both Chris Plumb memorial Cricket Games, in 2018/2019, collectively we’ve raised over 1k for The Christie.
