Saltford Community Coffee Club will celebrate its 60th meeting tomorrow at Saltford Hall. As always we welcome retired residents at 2pm for tea, coffee and cake, which will be served along with plenty of chat and in a warm environment.

To mark this Diamond Celebration, the Deputy Chair of B&NES Council (Cllr Dine Romero) representing the Chair of the Council and the Chair of Saltford Parish Council (Jon Godfrey) have been invited.

Fiona has made some special biscuits!

ANNUAL PERMISSIVE PATH APPEAL

Our thanks to everyone who has already donated to the annual appeal to raise the £3000 (including Gift Aid) needed to keep 4.5km of permissive paths open to the end of October 2027. Thank you and we are delighted to already be half way towards our target with 2 months to go.

We know very many of you enjoy your daily walks with and without dogs, taking advantage of the lovely countryside around us, including these wonderful permissive paths to the south and west of Saltford/east of Keynsham. We know many enjoy horse riding on these paths as well.

We are therefore sure that many of you will this year be happy to once again make a donation to keep these paths open for casual walkers, dog walkers, runners and horse riders. If we can’t raise the balance by the end of October 2026 all the paths marked in green will close forever.

So, if you walk, run or ride a horse on any part of the 4.5km of permissive paths, then we strongly encourage you to support this appeal.

An average of £25, plus Gift Aid, is a small price to pay for continuing to enjoy over 4.5km of footpaths (shown in green).

If you wish to donate, then simply click on the QR Code below, or use a donation envelope or you can donate via BACS to 405240 and a/c no 00007636 with reference “PATH Surname”.

If you do make a donation then we would strongly urge you to complete and return a gift aid form which can be obtained on our website by clicking here https://saltfordhall.co.uk/Gift%20Aid%20Form%20-%202025%20-%20v3.docx.

Once again many thanks to all those who have already generously donated to keep these paths open.

🎧 **Family Silent Disco Update** 🎧

Sadly, we’ve made the decision to cancel our upcoming **Family Silent Disco**.

Unfortunately, ticket sales haven’t been quite where we needed them to be, and we think the timing just wasn’t quite right for this one.

But don’t hang up those headphones just yet! 🎶💃🕺

We LOVE the idea and hope to bring the **Family Silent Disco back at a better time — perhaps with a festive Christmas twist! 🎄🎧✨**

Thank you to everyone who supported the event and bought tickets. We’re sorry for any disappointment and, of course, all ticket holders will receive a full refund.

**Watch this space… the silent disco may well return!** ❤️
