👉Drama this Saturday .... Yay! We have a wonderful opportunity which is open to current and past members of the ESSA family.
Current and Past Members of the ESSA Family
You may recall Julian and Flo put on a wonderful community performance for our huge audience last year - Blood Red Rose, this year we've been working hard on another production about Wearde Quay Camp which housed many injured service personnel in the WW1. Lowena (Played by Flo), will be performed at the end of November and our wonderful Composer and Director will be putting attending drama on Saturday, the very clever Julian Barnicoat. Not only would it be wonderful to be part of yet another historical event, but we thought it would be good for the children to perform (many of them love singing) and the songs are catchy, some of them quite West End sounding. Therefore, we propose to open at 10am until 1pm this Saturday for all those wishing to take part and rehearse the songs. It will still be fun and we would love to see as many children as possible taking part. Already our local BBC have shown an interest in filming it and featuring it as a news item on tv.
Therefore, it will only be this Saturday that Julian will attend, thereafter, Flo will continue to have a shorter slot at drama and rehearse in the studio with those children who are interested. Myself and a few friends will be performing in the show again this year and we are excited too.
Please contact us if there are any questions you would like to raise.
So, just remind you that it's a singing workshop this weekend 10am until 1pm, the price will be the usual £6.50, but they will have extra time too.
If your child intends attending, please bring a packed lunch and drink.
Thank you. Kaye, Sue & Flo. 👈
