A small plug for another race in Wiltshire, The Calne Clockwork Challenge (10/5 k).

The last race of the Wiltshire Road Running League, it’s a lovely out & back along quiet country roads, there’s still entries available.

Great things have been happening at Salisbury 10 HQ, along with the 11 other races in the HRRL (Hampshire Road Running League). We’ve signed up to the spanking new sustainability scheme that’s been carefully put together to ensure runners, volunteers, spectators, etc. can enjoy an enhanced experience during the race.

Working together as a league strengthens the position of each and every race, enabling them all to move uniformly in the same direction, implementing best practices and assisting EVERYONE to go that little extra when considering our immediate surroundings.

Salisbury 10’s colour may be blue but we’re going green more than ever before ♻️
Exciting times ahead, lots of training miles to be completed, races in the calendar, rest assured the HRRL and Salisbury 10 are with you all the way.

We can’t believe that’s it for another year! Huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Salisbury 10 Mile. Runners, volunteers, supporters, and everyone who helped make the event what it is. More to come over the next few days (including race photos), but a few things to mention:

Also… we have an apology to some of the final runners to cross the line. The inflatable finish arch had a fight with the wind and lost. We couldn’t safely put it back up, so some of you didn’t get the triumphant finish line moment you deserved. We’re really sorry, the wind is now banned from future events!!

Thank you to all who used our recycling facilities today! We took over 300 items of clothing and 65 pairs of trainers and 100 medals….. mental! Thank you to TeesMedal for making this happen!
