THE NOT QUITE
Back in 2015 the Not Quite Light project was born, using photography to explore themes of heritage and regeneration in a fast evolving urban landscape. The half-light of dawn and dusk was used as a metaphor for change, transition.
Out of this the festival emerged, to enable the opportunity for collaboration with others, and engage people in the wider debate about the places in which exist. The festival, based in Salford, and always held on the weekend the clocks go forward in March, will work within neighbourhoods across to nurture new ideas, whilst drawing in voices from outside the city to add to the debate.
The Not Quite Light Festival seeks to be a catalyst for fresh thinking and new creation via a programme of events featuring art, music, debate and architecture.
