Dear beer fest fans,
You'll have realised by now that we decided against squeezing the beer fest into 2019. We've also decided not to "double up" in 2020 – we will have just the one beer fest next year, in September as usual. We've not got an exact date yet, but it WILL happen!
After the success of our ReGINeration Festival last June, there will be another one of those in 2020 too. More details to follow but it may well be in June(-iper). It might even feature a sneaky selection of real ales!

BEER FEST POSTPONED
It is with great sadness that I have to announce that this year's beer festival will be postponed for at least a couple of months. With the building work on our site not expected to be complete by the beer fest date, it's best that we hold off on the event. For now.
Please watch this space. There will be a beer fest, possibly with an exciting new format...just not in September.

Hi everyone!

It's Friday night and there's a beer fest shaped hole in my life.
Actually, not really, as I've been counting up the votes for best beer/cider/gin of the fest. The results are...

Thanks to all who voted, and of course all who drank! You pretty much drank us dry, with just 8% of the beer and 12% of the cider left at the end...and of course you polished off 23 bottles of gin -- we only had 12!

Massive thanks to everyone who came to BEER FEST yesterday!

We've still got plenty of beer and cider...and more gin is being purchased as I write :-)

In a slight change to the schedule, please note that The Gelatos will be on a little later than advertised, around 8.30pm. They'll still rock (or swing) the place to its foundations!

Apologies if my (Leanne’s) red/orange combo made anyone’s retinas sore, I thought we were getting yellow staff shirts, and had no idea I looked like that until I saw the picture

Just over 48 hours until we open our doors!
Please note that, after 4 years of static prices, we're finally putting them up a little. It'll be £5 for three drinks tokens (each worth half a pint or half a G&T) or £11 for seven tokens.
Like many beer festivals, you pay for your tokens on the door. This makes it easier (and much quicker!) for us to serve you at the bar.
Also, PLEASE BRING CASH. While we can take contactless cards (minimum £9), our card readers are very much tied to the bar so it's a real faff.
