EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR NEXT WEEKEND:
PARKING: There is parking on the fete field for £2 per car. This applies to Saturday evening as well as Sunday day. We hope to fit in over 100 cars on the fete field but have organised a FREE OVERFLOW parking in the old fete field (the one behind the pub customer car park). It just means you have to walk to the fete field. There will be caution signs for motorists to hopefully slow everyone down and make them awares of pedestrians this weekend.

Sunday morning starts at 11am with a few words from our Master of Ceremonies . His late father Keith Barron was a great supporter of the village and fete. We are very lucky to have Jamie now support the fete just as much as his father did. The Leader of Cornwall Council Cllr Linda Taylor - Leader of Cornwall Council will also be in attendance on Sunday and will say a few words at the opening. Thank you to Vaughan Bennett and Penhalwyn Trekking Centre, School & Livery for organising the fancy dress horse parade. We are fortunate to have some amazing performances from St Ives Concert Band, Pensans Morris, bordering on morris and Phoenix Singers - St. Ives & Hayle.
Our Fun Dog Show beginning at 2:30pm have a couple new categories this year with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place rosettes for each category St Ives Veterinary Surgery:

3. Young Handlers (participation rosettes for everyone)
4. Best Rescue
5. Dog with the Waggiest Tail
6. Most Handsome Boy
7. Prettiest Girl
8. Golden Oldie, Best Senior Over 10

10. Best Trick
11. Best Fancy Dress
12. Dog the Judges Would Most Like to Take Home
And then of course the Top Dog for Best In Show!
Thank you to so many other people who give us their time and energy every year to put on a fun and friendly local event. There will be a few free games to play on the fete field this year but also we will have some stall holders showing their wonderful products or giving us something fun to do!
