A True Music Industry Legend Takes Centre Stage at Retrospective Festival 2026! 🎤

We're absolutely thrilled to announce that the legendary Pete Waterman will be hosting Retrospective Festival 2026 at Sherdley Park, St Helens!

Few people have shaped popular music quite like Pete. As one-third of the iconic Stock Aitken Waterman production team, he helped create some of the biggest hits of the 80s and 90s, launching the careers of global superstars including Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Jason Donovan, Bananarama and many more.

His productions have sold millions of records worldwide and helped define a generation of music.
With Pete currently back in the spotlight thanks to Netflix's Kylie documentary, it's the perfect time to celebrate the man behind so many timeless classics.

One of the most famous stories from his career is that Kylie Minogue's breakthrough smash hit "I Should Be So Lucky" was written in under an hour before becoming a worldwide chart success.

Join us for an unforgettable day of music, memories and nostalgia as one of Britain's most influential music figures takes to the stage as host of Retrospective Festival 2026.
