St Ewe Feast

St Ewe Feast A two day celebration of our Celtic Saint Ewe, on Sunday May 3rd & Monday May 4th in our pretty Cornish village of St Ewe,

Come and help us celebrate our Cornish Celtic Saint with a special two-day festival in the village. Festivities begin on Sunday 3 May with the St Ewe Feast & Ceilidh. In a marquee on the Village Hall Field, we’ll gather for an evening of wonderful food, music and dancing. From 6pm, delicious St Ewe food will be available to buy, followed by a lively ceilidh to round off the night. Please note: thi

s is a ticketed event. On Monday 4 May, the celebrations move into the heart of the village. The day begins with a guided walk led by local historian Michael Bunney, offering fascinating insights into the village’s past. In the afternoon, the church will host an exhibition of artwork inspired by St Ewe, alongside a series of short talks exploring who St Ewe was and the rich history of this remarkable village. Cream Tea will be on sale in the village square. The celebrations conclude in true Cornish style with a Shanty Shout in the village pub — the perfect way to end the festival.

It’s Thank You time ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Meur Ras!

As well as being a chance for the community to come together the St Ewe Feast was also to raise funds for the St Ewe Village Hall and The village church (Friends of St Ewe Church).

Whilst we don’t yet have the total funds raised confirmed yet we are hugely grateful to two local businesses who made this all possible with their generous donations. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and St Ewe Free Range Eggs.

Heligan also supported with bar supplies and printing the banners 🙏

Please do join us in a massive virtual round of applause.
