Meet our Partners

Câr-y-Môr is a Pembrokeshire Community Benefit Society that’s regenerating Welsh seas and soil, bringing local food back to tables, and creating jobs and economic opportunities for coastal and rural communities in Wales. Through partnerships with fishermen and gatherers, its own sea farms, and agricultural collaborations, Câr-y-Môr uses a wholescape regenerative approach to farming and fishing. Beach Food by Câr-y-Môr delivers fresh seafood and shellfish to restaurants and homes; while seaweed biostimulants support soil care for farmers and growers. Knowledge is shared through workshops for children and interactive learning experiences. Anyone can join Câr-y-Môr — by becoming a member, partnering, volunteering, or investing.

Mae Câr-y-Môr, Cymdeithas Budd Cymunedol wedi ei leoli yn Sir Benfro, yn adfywio moroedd a pridd Cymru, yn dod â bwyd lleol yn ôl i fyrddau, ac yn creu swyddi a chyfleoedd economaidd i gymunedau arfordirol a gwledig ledled Cymru.
Trwy bartneriaethau â physgotwyr a chasglwyr, ei ffermydd môr ei hun, a chydweithrediadau amaethyddol, mae Câr-y-Môr yn defnyddio dull adfywiol cyflawnwedd o ffermio a physgota.
Mae Beach Food gan Câr-y-Môr yn cyflenwi bwyd môr a pysgod cregyn ffres i fwytai ac i gartrefi; tra bod ei bio-symbylyddion gwymon yn help gofal pridd i ffermwyr a thyfwyr.
Caiff wybodaeth am y gwaith ei rannnu drwy weithdai i blant a phrofiadau dysgu rhyngweithiol. Gall unrhyw un ymuno â Câr-y-Môr — drwy ddod yn aelod, ffurfio partneriaeth, gwirfoddoli neu fuddsoddi.

Meet our Partners:

Really WIld;
“Pembrokeshire Seaweeds Ltd was founded in 2017 to research, harvest and develop the health, skincare and nutritional potential of marine algae and coastal herbs. Building on earlier work, the company established The Really Wild Emporium in 2000 on St Davids High Street, restoring a striking Art Deco building. The Emporium supports a specialist wild-food restaurant, retails sea and hedgerow products, and hosts environmentally sensitive educational courses. Today, Pembrokeshire Seaweeds Ltd is an award-winning enterprise, championing sustainability, celebrating local biodiversity, and providing meaningful employment, skills, and community support across Pembrokeshire through innovation, collaboration, ethical sourcing, education, resilience, growth, and shared prosperity.”Really WIld;

Yn 2000, sefydlwyd y cwmni The Really Wild Emporium ar Strŷd Fawr Tyddewi, gan adfer adeilad Art Deco drawiadol. Mae gan yr Emporium fwyty bwyd-gwyllt arbenigol, yn manwerthu cynnyrch o’r môr a’r cloddiau, ac yn cynnal cyrsiau addysgol sensitif i’r amgylchedd. Meet our Partners:

Pobl Tir Mor

Pembroke based CIC Pobl Tir Môr aims to connect people with the land, rivers and the sea, for the benefit of people and planet.
As well as being involved with a wide range of other projects, we are currently working on behalf of WWF Cymru to explore and raise awareness of the potential for Regenerative Ocean Farming in Pembrokeshire and to support people, businesses and organisations interested in being part of the sector.

Pwrpas Pobl Tir Môr, CBC sy’n gweithredu o Benfro, yw i gysylltu pobl â’r tir, yr afonydd a’r môr er budd pobl a’r blaned.
Yn ogystal â bod yn rhan o nifer o brosiectau eraill, ar hyn o bryd rydym yn gweithio ar ran WWF Cymru i archwilio ac i godi ymwybyddiaeth o’r potensial ar gyfer Ffermio Môr Adfywiol yn Sir Benfro, ac i gefnogi pobl, busnesau a sefydliadau sydd â diddordeb mewn bod yn rhan o’r sector

A few fun facts about seaweed
Seaweed is not a plant like the ones in your garden—it’s actually a type of algae!
Some seaweed can grow as fast as half a metre a day—that’s quicker than your hair grows!
It provides homes and food for lots of sea creatures, like tiny shrimp and fish.
Some seaweed can even glow in the dark—how cool is that?

Ychydig o ffeithiau difyr am wymon
Dydi gwymon ddim yn blanhigyn fel y rhai yn eich gardd—mewn gwirionedd mae e’n fath o algâu.
Gall rhai gwymon dyfu mor gyflym â hanner metr y dydd—mae hynny'n gyflymach na'ch gwallt yn tyfu!
Mae gwymon yn darparu cartref a bwyd i lawer o greaduriaid y môr, fel berdys bach a physgod.
Gall rhai gwymon hyd yn oed ddisgleirio yn y tywyllwch—pa mor cŵl ydi hynny?;

Looking back at Wales Festival of Seaweed 2024
The four days where filled with incredible talks, workshops, films, foraging, open mic nights, party nights, seaweed art and not forgetting food!
We cannot wait to share this years itinerary with you, once its finalised.

Edrych yn ôl ar Gŵyl Gwymon Cymru 2024
Roedd y pedwar diwrnod yn llawn sgyrsiau anhygoel, gweithdai, ffilmiau, chwilota bwyd, nosweithiau meic agored a parti, celf gwymon a heb anghofio bwyd!
Allwn ni ddim aros i rannu amserlen eleni gyda chi!

Why is Seaweed so important?
Seaweed isn’t just useful—it helps keep the planet healthy too!
It absorbs carbon dioxide, just like trees do, helping to keep our air clean.
It also helps protect the coast from big waves and provides food for people and animals all over the world.
People all over the world are coming up with new innovative ways to use seaweed and we want to celebrate that!

Pam bod Gwymon mor bwysig?
Nid yn unig yw gwymon yn ddefnyddiol ond mae hefyd yn helpu i gadw ein blaned yn iach!
Mae gwymon yn amsugno carbon deuocsid, yn union fel mae coed yn ei wneud, gan helpu I gadw yr aer yn lân. Mae hefyd yn helpu i amddiffyn yr arfordir rhag tonnau mawr ac yn darparu bwyd i bobl ac anifeiliaid ledled y byd.
Mae pobl ledled y byd yn meddwl am ffyrdd arloesol newydd o ddefnyddio
Gwymon ac rydym am ddathlu hynny!
