St Albans Stampede - 12hr Enduro The St Albans Stampede is a 12hr ultra marathon running event, organised by the St Albans Striders running club, held in the beautiful Heartwood Forest.

About:
The St Albans Stampede is an ultra marathon running event, organised by the St Albans Striders running club, held in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, covering parts of Heartwood Forest and Nomansland Common. The challenge is to cover the most amount of distance (in miles) over a designated time period of 12hrs – this can be undertaken solo, as a pair or as a 4-person or 8-person tea

m relay. Date and timing:
Saturday September 3, 2016. The race starts at 9am and finishes at 9pm. The Race HQ is the Sandridge Scout Hut. Entries:
Online only via Active Training World. Racing will be under Association of Running Clubs (ARC) rules. There will be a maximum of 300 entrants. The course:
An accurately measured 4 mile loop. The route is mildly undulating, on rocky trails so trail shoes are advised. Registration:
Race numbers will be collected on the morning of the race. Registration will open from 7.30am and close at 8.45am. race briefing will commence at 8.45am sharp. Please arrive in sufficient time to collect your race number and timing chip.
