As a female founded festival, with an all female team, it was only right to celebrate International Women’s Day connecting with fellow founders overlooking the stunning 🌷

A huge thank you to Chantal and Sally Palmer for hosting us at their beautiful cellar door yesterday and for our delicious lunch (and many, many desserts!)🥂

This International Women’s Day we’re bringing female founders together for something curated, meaningful, and celebrates the area we live in 🌿

Find all this and more at our Female Founders Long Lunch this International Women's Day at Charles Palmer Vineyards 🥂

Starting in Rye with a gentle walk through the countryside to the vineyard, followed by a long lunch made with local produce, sparkling wine and ending with an easy ride back into town 💐

With added touches from RockRose Beauty Co. (think goodie bags and hand massages) and a raffle/lucky dip treat from , this really will be a special celebration.

Not long now until we welcome you back through the gates for Rye Harvest Wine & Food Fair 2025! 🥂

The weather is testing us this year, so please keep an eye on our Instagram and pages for real-time updates. Be assured, we have plenty of cover and seating in our Main Tent, Speakers’ Tent and Maker’s Tent should we be unlucky! 🌟

Today is and we'd love you to meet Frank Langrish, a third-generation farmer and flockmaster, whose flock of Romney and Romney Cross Ewes and Sussex Cattle roam the salt marshes and surrounding countryside directly opposite The Ship in Winchelsea, where you'll find local celebrity Jamie's Butchers .
You can hear Frank and Jamie in conversation at 3pm this Saturday at the "Hog Roast Debate" and find out why we are serving lamb and venison at our Hoedown this Saturday night.
If you care about food security and the future of british farming, you won't want to miss it! 🚜 🐑 🦌
