✨ Something we’ve been meaning to share for a while…

Back in March, the final piece of the Switched On Stories jigsaw was put in place as the entrance boards to Jephson Gardens were updated to include the history of the Lights of Leamington.

With the main interpretation board already by the lake, it feels really special to now see the festival recognised as part of the gardens’ wider story.

Thank you to everyone who shared memories and supported the project — helping create a wonderful legacy and a springboard for discussions about the future of the festival💡🌸

It’s a beautifully printed version of our exhibition — packed with memories, photos, and festival magic 🌟 Suggested donation: £5, with all proceeds to The Myton Hospices 💛

We’re delighted that The Lights of Leamington is now celebrated in permanent form in Jephson Gardens! Here it is with our Steering Group and Cllr Will Roberts. Huge thanks to The National Lottery Heritage Fund and Warwick District Council Green Spaces team.

A permanent reminder of the Lights of Leamington festival has been installed at its former home in Jephson Gardens. Read more in the link in the comments.

We’re delighted to share that all the memories, photos and stories gathered during the Switched On Stories project have now been carefully curated and officially handed over to the Warwickshire County Record Office.

David and Carole from Whittle Productions met with archivist Sharon to deposit the collection, ensuring this special chapter of Leamington’s history is preserved for future generations.
