The Events team are busy packing down the show, but we wanted to say a quick but HUGE thank you for making Rotherham Show 2025 so special!

To all those that visited, participated, performed, delivered activities, provided services, served us delicious food, popped up with stalls, volunteered and worked, you’ve made it an unforgettable event and our favourite yet!

If you attended the show at the weekend, we’d love it if you could take 5 minutes out of your day to complete our audience survey, and you could win a Ā£50 voucher to spend at Rotherham Civic Theatre! The survey closes on 17th September.

If you go down to Clifton Park this weekend you’re in for a big surprise…

Following a fleeting pop-up at Parkgate in January, enlisting unsuspecting visitors to a shopping centre in lieu of Hollywood’s A-Listers, Martin Bielsperg, star of Cat & Mouse Theatre’s Blockbuster Factory is returning to Rotherham on a new assignment!

Welcoming the teddies, dollies, action figures and superheroes of Rotherham to a unique picnic in the park in this charming yet chaotic remake of a childhood classic. Blockbuster Factory takes place on both days 12.30pm to 1.15pm and 2.45pm to 3.30pm (British Sign Language interpretation provided on Sunday).

Come eat your picnic or yummy grub from the food stalls in our custom made Teddy Bears’ Picnic area. Designed by visual artist Ruby Fox who specialises in bringing a bit of fun and magic into everyday life.

For the 45th Rotherham Show, and to celebrate the Children’s Capital of Culture 2025 Festival Year, we’re shaking things up! We want your ideas, your creativity, and your voice at the heart of it all.

There’ll still be loads of activities, workshops, and performances for everyone – but this year isn’t just about joining in, it’s also about making your mark.

This is how it works:
1. Pick a team. There are three teams to choose from, names after the three coloured zones of the Show.

Yellow for Children’s Capital of Culture, Blue for Moving Rotherham and Workshop Village and Green for Nature & Environment. We’d love to see you dressed in team colours throughout the weekend!

2. Participate in an activity, and win a token for your chosen team. Look out for the CCoC signs next to activities for ones where you can win tokens!

3. In each of the coloured zones you’ll find a giant token collection point. Once you’ve collected your tokens, place them in the box that matches your team colour. Head to the acorn icon in each zone in the map.

4. Get your team wristband

5. Join the parade at 2pm on Sunday, starting from the garden building near Clifton Park Museum, and celebrate the winning team!
