You may have noticed a new band that opened the festival on Sunday, the Bawnkesmire Collective. Previously unknown, all was revealed when a very familiar Linton face, Mike Bertenshaw, appeared on guitar!

For those who do not know Mike, he has played a huge role in Linton Festival and even played at the first event back in 2001. So it was befitting he should play at the final event too.

Less known is just how much work Mike, his wife Sue and sons Adam and Rich - together with a group of friends- have put in behind the scenes over the years to make the event the success it has become.
