Hi All,

Most of you know I’m currently out of the office this weekend, taking on my own running venture. I’ll respond to emails on Sunday once I’ve recovered. For those asking about the medals — I was waiting on a few final addresses so I could send them all off together. They’ll be posted on my return Wednesday.

After a missed connection flight yesterday (hello, unexpected night in Zurich 👋), I finally landed safely in Ljubljana this morning. From there it’s been a full-on pre-race ultra:
• Bus Bled → Jesenice
• Jesenice → Kranjska Gora (finish line kit check ✅)
• Essential pizza carb-load 🍕
• Back again for my accommodation
• And then a “fun” 40 min walk to the supermarket… and 40 mins back with groceries in tow.

So basically, I’ve already completed a triathlon: bus riding, pizza eating, and grocery schlepping. 😂

The actual race starts tomorrow at 9am Slovenia time (8am UK). Forecast says 27°C, so it’s going to be a hot one 🥵. Wish me luck — I’ll need it more than I needed that pizza. 💪
