Aaron says that when we sell 14 more tickets, we hit a milestone and he's taking me out to dinner!

I know just where we can go - our new catering partner Chuck and Blade burgers!

Come on people buy those tickets 🎟 I need a burger fix!

If you haven't already done so, why not check out our Rochester Rocks Festival 2027 Spotify playlist.
It's pretty long as I keep getting carried away and adding more tracks.
It's pushing 3hrs now.
I tend to listen at work. Hit shuffle and the day just flies!

Last month, you may remember we ran a competition, asking for you to post a photo with our advertising banner which was at Destination FORGE 2026 and NWOCR Live.

We are pleased to announce that the winner was Simon Houghton with this image.

Simon was contacted and asked if he would like either a hoodie and tee shirt, a bar voucher or pair of tickets to bring friends and he opted for the tickets - a wise choice as now his friends owe him drinks 🍸 a win/win!

Congratulations Simon

Good morning to all our new followers.

We seemed to have gained quite a few newbies over the last few weeks.

If you're new here, welcome.

We are Rochester Rocks Festival.

We held our first event in March 2026 at Casino Rooms Live Events Rochester, Kent and our next one is March 2027.

Ticket sales are strong and have already surpassed sales of 2026, so you can buy with confidence that our event is DEFINITELY going ahead, despite so many festival and gig cancellations, we are in a strong position financially.

What can I tell you about us?

Well if you've arrived here recently, it maybe because you've seen some or all of us at an event.

That's because we are FANS first. We go to loads of gigs, up and down the country, supporting live music.

Of course at these events, we are trying to build our brand, we are wearing t shirts, handing out lanyards and talking to fellow fans, but make no mistake, we are there as music fans first.

We've put together what we think is a pretty killer line up, which is amazing value for money - we're all feeling the pinch these days so the chance to see 8 top quality bands for what is essentially a fiver each is important to us.

We are building on what went right this year and have listened to the feedback to correct the minor issues that people said we could improve on.

We want everyone, bands, fans and staff to have the best day possible, spend time with friends and make new ones, we're all part of a great rock community.

Also, we won't just be posting regular 'buy tickets' posts - thats boring.

We'll be sharing posts from bands who have played and due to play Rochester Rocks, new releases, tours and we PROMOTE OTHER FESTIVALS, because times are tough and we should be helping each other.

So welcome, and if you haven't done so, BUY THE BLOODY TICKETS 🤣

Well done to Margate Rock Festival (in Ramsgate) for a fun, well organised event over the weekend.
A varied collection of bands to suit different tastes, great sound and lights in cool venue.
Good to see friends and make new ones.

What a fantastic community we are all part of.

Thanks to Jake Cook and his team for the hospitality.

Til next time...last photo dump of the weekend, some may have been posted before, sorry!
