The Bobtown Family Get Together The Bobtown Family Get Together was set up by Elaine Holroyd in 2021 as part of The Big Kirkwood Get Together.

Elaine was diagnosed with stage 4 incurable cancer in 2019 and her wish is for it to become an annual event to raise funds for The Kirkwood.

We are absolutely delighted to share that an incredible £2,371 was raised at our event last Saturday in support of The Kirkwood 💜

A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who joined us, and to our wonderful family, friends, neighbours, and the Batley & Birstall Support Group for their generous donations, help, and continued support.

As part of The Kirkwood Bobtown Family Get Together on Saturday 13th September 2025 at Roberttown Community Centre, we’re hosting our very first Autumn Themed Junior Bake-Off… and it’s going to be delicious! 😋

👶 Ages 5 & under – Bun decorating fun 🧁
🌟 Ages 6–9 – Bake your best!
🌟 Ages 10–13 – Show off your skills!
🌟 Ages 14–17 – Create a show-stopping Autumn-themed cake 🎃🍂

✨ Competition details:
👉 All entries to be presented by 12:00pm
👉 Judging at 1:30pm
👉 Please label each entry with name, age & contact details

🏆 Prizes up for grabs! 🏆
