Ringwood Carnival Ringwood Carnival -
A 'festival of fun' for the whole family, raising money for local charities and good causes. Ringwood saw its very first Carnival in 1928!

It was originally set up to fund the purchase of a certain field from local man Mr. Carver, as well as to raise monies for the Royal Victoria & West Hants Hospital. Carnivals followed in 1931 and 1934, when the Coldstream Guards marched through the town in full dress uniform. The first Carnival after the war was in 1950 and has continued every year since. Today the Carnival is Ringwood’s largest and most important annual community event.

🎇Our Market Place Arena returns once again for 2026, with some ACTION packed pre & post Procession entertainment (this Saturday 19th).

🏍️Mobile Bike Events will also be returning this year with their high impact jaw dropping air performance display 👀 With a series of aerial stunts and backflips - they will be jumping higher this year 🫣- so make sure to check them out!

➡️Carnival is TIME for FAMILIES to be TOGETHER and we have worked hard this year to create a space that provides FREE ENTERTAINMENT and Activities with emphasis on children and families. Our Village Green Family Zone is situated on the Bickerley Green. The Green hosts a series of wonderful arts and crafts, activities, local charity stalls and refreshments.

❤️Take some time out and enjoy being with family and friends and play some of our GAMES and activities. Mums & Dads can 'grab 5' and sit and relax and enjoy a refreshment. JOINED BY THE Top Hat Riders, TRANSFORMERS and our PROFESSIONAL Circus ENTERTAINERS, we have a full timetable of free shows for you to enjoy. 💙

For 2026, we see the return of the amazing "ROBOTS IN DISGUISE" - THE Bumblebee & Megatron Transformers!....🤖

❓ WHERE? You won't have trouble finding them - towering at over 7 feet, you can see Bumblebee and Megatron on the high street - between Greyfriars and Fridays Cross. 💛

❓When? The Transformer pair will be available for photo ops, high fives (and maybe conversations!) before both the afternoon & evening processions: from 13:30 & 16:30. 🩶

‼️**** WOAH WOAH It's ANOTHER BIG announcement **** ‼️

It wouldn't be Ringwood Carnival without the Bournemouth Carnival Band(aka the Spiderman Band) and if course they'll be performing ONCE again for us this year! WOOP! 🕷️

BUT JUST FOR RINGWOOD, the Awesome CREW at The Railway - Ringwood have arranged for their annual Pre-Evening-Procession Gig at around 5.30pm in the wonderful The Railway Pub Garden! Make sure you get down there and see them!

The AMAZING Malc & Hannah of The Railway - Ringwood are ONCE AGAIN (and have been for over 10 years!) Gold PLUS Sponsors (thank you Malc and Hannah!) They are holding their annual HUGE Carnival Party with a Garden bar, craft beers, funky gin and their special BBQ TRAY! What more could you want ?!🍔🍻🕺
