🚨British Pedal Car Grand Prix 2026 Postponed, Set to Return in 2027 🚨
It’s with great sadness that Ringwood & District Round Table has to announce that the 2026 British Pedal Car Grand Prix will not take place, following an unavoidable change to the event’s traditional date.
The much-loved community event, typically held on the second Sunday in July, was this year asked to move to an alternative earlier date to accommodate another local event. While every effort was made to adapt, the revised schedule significantly impacted team availability.
As a result, and due to a lack of entries for the new date, organisers have taken the difficult decision to postpone the 2026 event until next summer.
Craig Adams, Chairman of the Event Team, said:
“This hasn’t been an easy decision. The Pedal Car Grand Prix is a highlight of the year for so many people in our community, but the change of date meant that many of our regular teams were unable to take part. Without the strong turnout the event deserves, we felt it was best to pause for this year.”
Despite the disappointment, Ringwood & District Round Table is already looking ahead with enthusiasm.
Plans are underway to ensure the British Pedal Car Grand Prix returns in 2027 — bigger, better, and stronger than ever — continuing its proud tradition of bringing together teams, families, and spectators for a day of fun, competition, and community spirit.
Craig added:
