H&C’s wedding day was all about the details (and a viral dance moment!).

A ceremony in Saint Mary’s Church, that adjoins onto Somerley Estate, followed by an amazing reception with a surprise firework show for their friends and family created a day no one will ever forget.

Thank you to H&C and their families for being such a joy to work with.

Last weekend we had the privilege of kicking off the wedding season on a sunny Spring day with the wonderful C&T.
An elegant and timeless ceremony in the Picture Gallery that soon turned into the most joyful and lively evening reception. That dancefloor didn’t empty out once!

With a capacity of up to 140, this room is a truly unique space. A stunning 90ft gallery with views across the parkland that allow sun to flood through the sky lights and windows.
Alternatively, this room can be transformed with candlelight and antique mirrors to create a more intimate setting for you and your guests.

The Drawing Room is one of Somerley House’s most versatile spaces and adjoins both the Picture Gallery and the East Library.
The Drawing Room can seat up to 100 people for a wedding ceremony but can also double as a bright social space and even a dancefloor!

To bridge the gap between indoors and the rolling green of the Somerley Estate, we have The Colonnade and East Terrace. With a stunning and versatile outdoor ceremony space, it’s the perfect spot for a Spring or Summer wedding. Alternatively it can serve as a wonderful backdrop for drinks and canapés.

For larger parties with over 140 guests, the sweeping lawn that adjoins Somerley House is the perfect spot for a marquee.

The West & East Libraries offer a more intimate setting within Somerley House. With doors that open out onto The Colonnade, these rooms receive plenty of sunshine while retaining a cosy and warm atmosphere.
