Thank you so much to everyone who joined us this year for another fantastic event. It always humbles us to see so many people from the village and wider community donate prizes, buy ducks, take part in the tug of war and of course come to watch the event.

The winners of the duck race are as follows - congratulations to everyone! We'll start to make contact over the next few days.

Morning all! Who's ready for some tug of war at 10am?!

We already have 6 pre-registered mens teams for this morning which is fantastic!

If you'd like to take part today (whether you have a mens/womens/mixed team or are an individual puller) please come along ready to pull and we'll try to sort you out.

If teams/pullers could aim to arrive just before 10, we can sort out lots ready for a 10am start.

However, in summary:
* no studed or spiked footwear
* no knots in the rope end
* teams must remain on their feet
* teams will be disqualified on 3rd warning
* adult team members must be 18+

Duck sheets will be removed from Thrussington's Village Store at about 1pm today, and from both The Horse and Groom and The Wheel later this evening.

Online sales will be closed at about 11pm on Christmas Day.

Don't worry though, we'll still be selling any remaining ducks at the event itself.
