Caversham Court Gardens Came Alive for a Weekend of Rowing, and Riverside Fun.
Whether cheering at the finish line or browsing the stalls, the Reading Amateur Regatta continues to bring together the very best of sport, summer, and local spirit.
A stream of people flowed into Caversham Court Gardens over the weekend of June 14th and 15th to enjoy two exhilarating days of competitive rowing and lively riverside festivities.
The excitement is closer than ever, with the regatta finish line in Caversham Court Gardens, giving spectators front-row views of the final sprints and photo finishes from the comfort of the shade or a picnic blanket.
On dry land, Angel Bar brought the gardens to life with a colourful mix of craft and vintage stalls, garden games, and fantastic food and drink. Popular vendors like Fanny’s Antiques, Gina’s Vintage Couture, and Sheabutter Cottage drew plenty of interest, offering everything from handmade goods to timeless treasures.
The riverside festivities created a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere perfect for a Father’s Day weekend. With plenty to eat, drink, and explore, it was an event that offered something for everyone—whether you came for the racing, the shopping, or the sunshine, in its 2nd Year, we start planning for next year!
