I’m please to announce Pro-Shar and the Pro-Shar Cup to the UK.

Some of you may or may not know I have been working with Pro-Shar to bring players the best possible paint available in the UK. Pro-Shar was very impressed with how we run Driver Wood Paintball and my dedication to supply top quality paint to player no matter if you’re a rental or a pro (at the moment all my rentals shoot Fate).

Some of you are wondering who are they? Pro-Shar have been making quality paint for a number of brands including Valken for years. If you have shot the Valken Redemption Pro you have shot Pro-Shar. They also used to make Fate years ago but they no longer produce it for them.

I’ll quickly give you an over view why their paint is so good.
1. It’s produced in Europe so the turn around from raw ingredients to your door is 8 days (that includes 48 hours drying).
2. Pro-Shar have the largest paint production site in Europe. They are at the moment doubling the size of the site due to demand.
3. Pro-Shar paint is tested every 15 minutes for size, weight and density 365 days of the year. This ensures once your barrel match you should never need to match again.
4. They have a unique drying process to ensure the ball is stable in all temperatures. I left a sample box outside in -3 and shot the paint and it shot amazing (video to follow).

I’m pleased to announce Pro-Shar are opening a warehouse in Manor Royal near Gatwick at the end of February. This allows them access to the m23 and m25. This also allows them to reduce costs from shipping into the UK. This will benefit both site owners and also players with lower paint prices or a higher standard paintballs for the same money as their competition. This also ensures they can ship to sites fast!! As a Pro-Shar certified field (Driver Wood) we will be support players and sites that find themselves short 24/7/365 even if you need paint at 3am we’ll open for you no matter the amount you need.

The unique thing about Pro-Shar is they will produce any colour paintball (fill and shell) for your field and also lock it to your field so no one else can purchase it. This ensures rental customers and site only events shoot only the paint available from the site owner or event organiser.

The Pro-Shar Cup has been running in Europe for some time and now they are bringing it to the UK. What is the Pro-Shar Cup? The Pro-Shar Cup is two separate events, woodland and supair. The first Pro-Shar Cup will be woodland with the supair Pro-Shar cup starting afterwards on a specially created grass events field. Each player will be asked to sign up for the Pro-Shar membership scheme before they are allowed to play (a cost of £15 per person). Why? When you enter the Pro-Shar Cup you enter 10 players (5 man, 5 backup that are only allowed to play in that division. This ensures pro players cannot switch between divisions e.g. a pro player playing in the amateur division to win a cup. This ensures the sport grows and new players are not mowed down by pro’s. When you sign up you will be given a lanyard and a photo ID badge which must be worn when entering the fields to ensure reffs can check only the right players play. This ID will also give you a discount on paint at all Pro-Shar certified fields (walkons and events). Each team entering the cup will also be given a free box of paint per event of tournament paint. The top 3 teams will then be entered into the semi finals in Europe and will win even more paint.

The first Pro-Shar Woodland Cup will be held at Driver Wood Paintball (RH10 4TA). It will be a 5 on 5 timed scenario format. There will be free camping available for anyone that is traveling from a distance. It will be based on the 5.5 semi for electro markers or 5.5 unlimited for mech markers. There will be 3 divisions Amateur, Semi Pro and Pro with 3 legs in total. The scenario format will ensure each leg is different and the mixture of 6 scenario fields will ensure your never bored (each Pro-Shar certified field will run their own format e.g. in Europe they run supair format in the woods). The event will be launched very soon.
We will be selling the Pro-Shar 50 Caliber, Skirmish, Red Menace, Superior and Tournament paintballs at all of legs. No matter what marker you use, we have you covered.

I have been testing the paint for the last couple of months. I left it out in -3 2 days ago. The paint itself held up amazing with very little dimples (photo attached). On a drop test the tournament paint still broke amazing (video coming soon).
