RAWTENSTALL MONDAY NIGHT 5-A-SIDE – PREMIERSHIP ROUND-UP
Monday 1st June 2026

Another action-packed evening of Premiership football in Rawtenstall saw goals flying in across all three fixtures, with a remarkable 69 goals scored on the night.

DOG FC 13-11 WESTERN FC

The evening got underway with a goal fest as DOG FC edged past Western FC in a thrilling encounter. Both sides attacked relentlessly from the first whistle, producing end-to-end football and plenty of quality finishing. DOG FC just managed to keep their noses in front during the closing stages to secure a hard-earned 13-11 victory.

JEANS FC 9-12 ROSSY FC

Rossy FC claimed all three points in the second fixture with an impressive 12-9 win over Jeans FC. Despite Jeans FC battling throughout and finding the net regularly, Rossy FC's clinical finishing proved the difference. A strong attacking display ensured Rossy FC walked away with a deserved victory.

LARGENTINA 13-11 ROZZY RANGERS

The final game of the night delivered more drama as LArgentina overcame Rozzy Rangers 13-11. Both teams traded goals throughout an entertaining contest, but LArgentina showed great composure in front of goal to secure the win. Rozzy Rangers pushed hard until the final whistle, but LArgentina's attacking quality ultimately proved decisive.

Premiership – Monday Evening, 18/05/2026

The Rawtenstall Premiership served up goals, drama and a standout goalkeeping performance on Monday night, with three entertaining fixtures producing 62 goals across the evening.

ROZZY RANGERS 5 – 17 DOG FC

DOG FC turned in the performance of the night with an emphatic victory over Rozzy Rangers. From the opening stages they looked sharp in possession, clinical in front of goal and never allowed Rangers to settle into the contest.

Seventeen goals tells its own story as DOG FC ran riot going forward, while Rozzy Rangers battled throughout but struggled to contain the relentless attacking pressure. A huge statement result and one that could have implications at the top end of the table.

Result: DOG FC take the points in dominant fashion.

WESTERN FC 7 – 15 ROSSY ROWDEHS

Another high-scoring affair followed as Rossy Rowdehs put together an impressive attacking display to overcome Western FC.

Western showed plenty of fight and managed seven goals of their own, but the Rowdehs were ruthless whenever opportunities came their way. Quick transitions and clinical finishing helped them build a lead that Western couldn’t claw back.

A strong evening’s work for Rossy Rowdehs as they continue to build momentum.

LARGENTINA 10 – 8 ROSSY FC

The closest game of the evening delivered the drama, with Largentina edging out Rossy FC in a thrilling encounter.

Both sides traded goals throughout in an end-to-end match that could have gone either way. Rossy FC kept the pressure on right until the final stages, but Largentina found enough quality to hold on and seal an important win.

Rawtenstall 5-a-Side League Match Report – 11 May 2026

Goals flew in all evening in the Rawtenstall Monday night 5-a-side league, with 67 goals scored across just three fixtures in a night packed with drama, comebacks and attacking football.

The headline clash of the night came in the opener as ROSSY FC and ROZZY RANGERS played out an extraordinary 9-9 draw in one of the highest-scoring games of the season. Neither side could establish control for long, with momentum swinging constantly from end to end. ROSSY FC looked to have edged ahead late on after a rapid burst of goals, but ROZZY RANGERS refused to fold and grabbed a dramatic leveller in the closing moments to share the points.

The second fixture saw DOG FC produce the performance of the evening with a ruthless 16-9 victory over ROSSY ROWDEHS. Although the ROWDEHS stayed competitive during the early stages and contributed heavily in attack, DOG FC eventually overwhelmed them with relentless pressing and clinical finishing. Quick transitions and sharp movement in the final third proved too much to handle as DOG FC pulled away in the latter stages to record the biggest win of the night.
