Please welcome Neeve Zahra Music to our Country by the Castle line up!

Manchester born singer/songwriter, Neeve Zahra is captivating audiences with her unique voice and beautiful lyrics which are far beyond her years. Championed by the likes of Bob Harris on BBC Radio 2 and CountryLine Radio’s Tim Prottey-Jones, Neeve Zahra is already taking the UK country music scene by storm.

Neeve is proud to have been nominated for two British Country Music Association Awards. Neeve’s EP ‘BREAKUP BREAKDOWN’ was released earlier this year and she’s excited to head out on the road and perform it live.

We're super stoked to welcome fan-favourite Susannah Clegg Music back to Country by the Castle! Taking part in the songwriters round on Friday, and taking to the main stage with her full band on Saturday - you're in for a real treat!

Bursting onto the scene as one of the most compelling new talents in UK country and Americana, Susannah Clegg has been thrilling audiences up and down the country since the release of her debut EP in February 2025.

The scope of her original songs ranges from hard-driving country that sounds like it could have been written by the likes of Johnny Cash or Loretta Lynn, to vintage Western Swing that wouldn't be out of place in the dancehalls of Texas, to heartfelt cowboy ballads of the old west, all delivered with one of the finest country voices this side of the Atlantic ocean.

In the last year Susannah has been a featured artist on BBC Introducing, heralded by Rogue Country as a “rising star and trailblazer”, described as “a standout voice on the UK scene” by Rugged Revival, as well as being selected as the Americana Music Association UK member pick at Rambling Roots R***e, where her performance was hailed by attendees as one of the highlights of the festival.

On stage there are very few artists who can hold a stage or captivate an audience quite like Susannah: her songwriting is outstanding; her rootsy acoustic guitar harks back to the old bluesmen of Mississippi, embellished here and there with bluegrass-inspired licks, but it is her spine-tingling vocal performance that truly blows audiences away.

Taking to the stage on Saturday is Amy Jo Clough

Imagine if Elle Woods made country/pop music... that's how Amy Jo blends her two loves, academia and music. Since graduating from The Open University and the London School of Economics and Political Science, Amy Jo has performed at some prestigious venues, including New Century Hall, Barrowlands, Band on the Wall, London Indigo 02, Edinburgh Corn Exchange, The Cluny and The Stables.

Some notable achievements include performing alongside Brit-award winner, Raye, to an audience comprised of legendary songwriters, such as Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black, winning the ‘Best Newcomer’ Award with Songs Behind The Music, gaining over 180,000 streams on her debut EP ‘Songs From The Bay’, performing her debut at The British Country Music Festival and supporting Kylie Morgan at Bush Hall.

In recent months, Amy Jo has been featured on ITV Granada with host Elaine Wilcox, won the audience vote to play the Keep it Country Festival, and toured as part of the Northern Songbirds, featuring two sold out shows.

Currently in the process of releasing her debut album, Amy Jo describes her music as relatable, conversational, honest and grounded, with more than a splash of whimsy.

Joining our songwriters' round on Friday, and the acoustic stage on Saturday afternoon is country-soul singer-songwriter, Zoe Unsworth

Despite only being in her 20’s, Zoe has achieved what most in the music industry can only dream of. She's fresh off the back of the Northern Songbirds tour with Susannah Clegg, Bronnie and Amy Jo, and is already prepping for some huge shows with her band later this year!

Opening Country by the Castle 2026 is the wonderful Grace Price!

Grace Price Music is a Leeds based indie singer-songwriter. Grace uses diverse acoustic sources to create lyrically intricate songs centred around groove, her EP ‘Harbour’ playing on BBC Radio 1 and 6. Her organic sound thrives live, seen at festivals like Kendal Calling and multiple headline shows.

Inspired by poetry and literature, Grace has been described as reminiscent of ‘a young Laura Marling’.
