Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival The Eleventh annual Chocolate Festival takes place in Ramsbottom on the 6 and 7 April 2019 A weekend full of chocolate!

Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival is back again on the 8 and 9th April for it's eighth year! This is a well known fun filled family event including Chocolate themed market which wanders around the beautiful Town of Ramsbottom. There is a market on Bridge Street, Market Place, Church Gardens and the site of the Saturday Market. This year there are more

stalls than ever featuring artisan chocolatiers and bakers, children's area with face painting from Dollypops, family fun area with crazy golf and paint ball, the fun truck is in Town, if we have good weather there is a lovely picnic area for alfresco dining by the River Irwell and the Farmers Market is also taking place on the Sunday with traders bringing local craft and fresh food (The Farmers Market takes place at Market Place and inside the Civic Hall). Take wander through our market and you can browse the many varied stalls sampling artisan chocolates and a variety of carefully crafted products, we have Bury Fairtrade attending the event offering tasters of fairtrade chocolates. Throughout Town we have a wide range of independent shops and cafes or you can jump on a steam train with the East Lancashire Railway. The event runs all day Saturday from 10-5pm and Sunday 10-4pm. There is limited free parking in Town but we would urge you to use our Park and ride facilities. You can park at Woodhey High School (the postcode for your sat nav system is Bolton Road West, BL0 9QZ) and we have a shuttle bus running from 10am onwards (last bus leaves Ramsbottom Town Centre at 4:45pm Saturday and 4:15pm Sunday) for just £2 you can leave your car there all day and use one of our FREE shuttle buses which all day long and drive you into and out of Town. Ramsbottom has so much to offer, well known for it's eateries, bars and even it's own brewery. Come along for a fun family food filled event!

Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival takes place on the 6 and 7 April 2019 Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival is back again for it’s eleventh year! A weekend full of chocolate! This is a well known fun filled family event including Chocolate themed market which wanders around the beautiful Town of Ramsbottom. The market will spread around the Town centre of Ramsbottom on Bridge Street, Church Gardens and the site of the Saturday Market. There is an indoor craft Market inside the Civic Hall, we have a fun truck at Market Place and We have a family fun area with children’s rides, face painting and entertainment, if we have good weather there is a lovely picnic area for alfresco dining by the River Irwell. Take wander through our market and you can browse the many varied stalls sampling artisan chocolates and a variety of carefully crafted products made using chocolate from wines to cheese, marshmallows, chocolate chilli, chocolate spreads and lots of other enticing food. We have Bury Fairtrade attending the event offering tasters of fairtrade chocolates,we have artisan chocolatiers and makers who have incorporated chocolate into their products especially for the event.

This year the event is a Chocolate and Food festival with lots of artisan food makers sharing their amazing products.
