Well equipped for all kinds of function and with a licensed bar The Phoenix Suite (our largest room) is a hidden gem in Nottinghamshire's collection of banqueting and conferencing venues. If you wish to use your own caterers or "do-it-yourself" our commercial kitchen is available for hire. Our Registered Charity "Rainworth Village Hall Management Committee" (1092122) have re-launched the revived community venue with a new brand image and held our first wedding fayre to celebrate. Re-named "The Phoenix Suite" having survived a devastating fire in April 2004 and near closure in 2011 due to lack of support, the new Management Committee have breathed life into the original "Drill Hall" with support from a small team of local volunteers and regular hirers to rise from the ashes like the mythical bird from which it takes it's name. The beautiful Phoenix Ballroom has just been refurbished and the team continue to make further improvements to the facilities within the complex, developing a new and improved guest reception area, a picnic area and much more. Being a community venue run by a charity and volunteers with only a handful of paid employees, The Phoenix Suite strives to bring luxury and professionalism to your family celebrations without breaking the bank like some commercial venues might. Income from all our work is ploughed back into providing community events such as the Summer Fun Day and Bonfire Night Family Disco and soon our Under 18's Disco nights.
