Started in 2021 by John Kelly and continued by local runners, the Butcombe Trail Pub Crawl is a social ultra run along the waymarked 47-mile Butcombe Trail connecting 6 pubs around the Mendips AONB and run annually on the first Saturday in April.

Butcombe Brewing Co. beers acquired and undergoing quality control/last minute training.

Beautiful, if slightly chilly, day today. Hopefully similar conditions next Saturday, and the ground stays relatively mud free!

This time next week we should be near or in the Queens Arms Bleadon. One week to go!

A stunning day on the hills with no named storm this time! A bit chilly with that wind at the start, but it was welcomed as the day warmed up.

Four completions again this year, a new Rare Breed and a Zero, a returning Zero, and proof that The Damo can be done! All ably supported by Nick Rickard.
