Here is our full list of matches for today's Subs on the Sand!

We have extremely talented athletes on every part of this card and I can't wait to see them in action.

Drinks will be available from The Cheeky Tipple mobile bar all day, and our DJs have strict instructions to spin the filthiest tunes.

The action kicks off at 12 PM!

Find us near the Beach Volleyball Courts, opposite Alexandra Gardens Arcade. (Don't worry, you'll hear us!)

William Millard will take on Jack Whitburn in a White Belt Superfight!

Still in an existential battle over whether he is Mario or Luigi, the other half of Wiltshire Grappling Academy's "Smash Bros", Jack Whitburn is taking to the SUBS stage alongside his brother, Harry.

Guarding his proverbial princess will be The Combat Lab's Big Willie- William Millard. At just 16 years old, facing off against adults can be a daunting task but what he lacks in experience, he more than makes up for in gameness.

You could say that this Willie has balls.

This should be a frantic, exciting match between two newcomers to the sport.

Jordan Kirk will take on Paul Hopkins in a Black Belt Superfight!

We can't wait to welcome these Black Belt competitors to the SUBS stage to showcase the highest levels of Submission Grappling for the Weymouth crowd!

Leading from the front, Jordan Kirk is the head coach of Somerset-based, Elite Jiu-Jitsu. He'll be taking a break from coaching on Saturday when he battles experienced MMA fighter and fellow Black Belt Paul Hopkins.

Representing Pro JiuJitsu Birmingham, Hopkins has a wealth of experience in combat sports. Holding titles for several international MMA organisations, this match is not one you want to miss!

Representing BJJ Globetrotters, Matthew Cu***ng is probably used to facing some international opposition.

This will be the case again on Saturday when he faces Marcel Ledniowski, a Polish White Belt from Wish. (I didn't know they sold those...)

Representing Rising Tide BJJ, Marcel is looking to channel some Polish Power on Weymouth Beach, but will it be enough to overcome the Globetrotter?

BJJ black belt and experienced MMA veteran Paul Hopkins is bound to be an exciting addition to the SUBS 5 card!

The Sprawl and Brawl, XFC and BCMMA Champ has fought all over the world for numerous organisations, collecting wins and valuable experience. Experience that will make him a serious challenge for even the craftiest grapplers.

Representing Pro Jiu Jitsu Birmingham, we can’t wait to let Paul out of his cage (literally) at SUBS 5 to let him show off his black belt skills. There may not be a knockout this time, but when Black Belts collide, a quick finish is never out of the question.

Black Belt Competitor and Head Coach of Elite Jiu Jitsu Somerset, expect fireworks when Jordan Kirk steps on the SUBS stage. (not literal fireworks, we can’t be trusted with those)

Explosive but technical, Kirk has a fan-friendly style that he’s always happy to showcase.

Being head coach of a busy gym is a full-time gig, but Jordan has taken time out of his schedule to have a tear-up on the beach alongside his team. I think you’d call that leading from the front, and it’s the type of attitude we love to see.

At just 18 years old, Franck is already a Purple Belt and a prolific competitor representing Flo Martial Arts in Plymouth.

Hailing from Batié in Cameroon, but usually found on podiums at events across the UK, Franck is a GOLD MEDAL MACHINE and one of the brightest young stars on the UK grappling circuit.🥇

Welcoming Franck to the SUBS stage will be Cormac Anderson, another rising star and highly decorated grappler.

Return of the 'Mac! We are extremely excited to welcome Cormac Anderson back to our stage for the second time, after putting on a winning display for Team DRAIG in the SUBS 3 Quintet.

Cormac is a decorated competitor, with many accolades to his name including:

3x Gi British Champion
ADCC Wales Champion

One man not in the charitable mood will be The Mat Academy's Daniel Taylor, who stands in Ibberson's way to an illustrious SUBS win.

An American living in Wales, Daniel is looking to pass guards and spread democracy.
