We are very sad to hear of the passing of Martin Parr, a very lovely gentleman that we were lucky to have met. In a funny turn of events one of our boys was booked on a shoot with him, shooting a back to school style preschool series in Bristol. It was the hottest day of the year and our little guy was not entirely impressed by this new experience - he ended up being the grumpy one at the end of the line of children.
Two weeks later Martin happened to be taking a lot of snaps of our games, so I went and introduced ourselves as the child that would not play ball a couple of week ago, Martin laughed and said he actually felt N had made the shot, as it looked more genuine with one that didn’t want to join in! The image made it into his Fashion Faux Parr book which a friend happened upon a few months later.
Sending huge love to all his family, what a great loss ###
