Hello Whistlers - it’s been a while! This will be the last post from us here at OTW. Despite a desire to continue doing what we loved and putting on events for you we have not been able to reestablish our events within the changing economy.

We have shared so many amazing memories over the years, many can be seen in the photos on this page. It is sad to see the end of it. If you want to grab any pictures please do so by 1 July as this page will shut down then.

We still get a buzz seeing OTW buffs and t-shirts when we’re out and about, and I’m sure that will continue.

Thank you once again for everything Whistlers, as we’ve said before, if it wasn’t for all of you we’d just be three people stood in a field with a gazebo.

At OTW we have always had a higher percentage of female entries than male entires to our events. Sometime 70% of our entrants are female.
Ultra runner Sophie Power has founded SheRaces to promote females in running and events. Here at OTW we wish her all the success. Have read of the Runners World article

Important update, please read:

Dear Whistlers, in light of the current climate we have taken the VERY difficult decision to cancel all OTW events for the foreseeable future. This hasn’t been an easy decision, and it’s certainly one we never wanted to make given how hard we have worked to build our business, but with low entry numbers for organised events across the whole of the running community, we simply cannot maintain our position without ongoing financial losses.

We have every intention of returning at some point in the future and look forward to seeing you all at one of our events again when the world gets more settled.

If you have an entry into our Woodland Way 10k we will be in touch in the next few days regarding a refund. Please check your emails.

This isn’t the end Whistlers. Keep chatting with us. Keep engaging with us, and remember the fun we’ve shared over the years.

We will be back.
