This is a free networking event for food, drink and hospitality businesses across Portsmouth and the South Coast.

Hosted by Meat & Barrel, the event marks the official launch of Southsea Food Festival – recently named Event of the Year at the Portsmouth Business Awards 🙌

It’s a chance for producers, retailers and hospitality venues to connect, showcase products, share ideas and hear short, practical talks focused on business growth and collaboration.

Applications are now closed for traders as we have over a 100 food and drink traders, making Southsea Food Festival 2026 our biggest event yet! We are working hard behind the scenes to bring you the festival and we can't wait for July, plenty of sunshine on order. Watch this space for updates 😀

Fridays just got tastier!
A brand‑new street food market is coming to Portsmouth city centre.

Foodie Fridays launches on Friday 27 March, from 10am–4pm, bringing a mix of hot street food traders to Commercial Road. Expect flavours like Thai noodles, loaded jacket potatoes, crepes, shawarma and burgers. Plus vegetarian and vegan options too.

The market will then run monthly on the last Friday of the month, helping support local traders and bringing more life to the city centre.

Hampshire Farmers' Markets don't just visit Southsea for Food Festival - they hold regular monthly markets in Palmerston Road.

This weekend Berry Hill Farm are joining the Farmers Market regular traders to supply their high quality delicious seasonal vegetables, fresh from the farm.

Give them a Southsea welcome on 17 August from 10am and pop down for the delights of great food reared, grown, baked, caught & brewed locally.
