Why do we need to check our mirrors? 👀

We need to know how we will affect the drivers behind us when we react to what is happening ahead of us. 🚗👀

We should think about... 🤔
- How close are they travelling?
- What information are they giving us?
- How can we use the information they are showing/giving us?
- How can we help them if we need to slow down?
- Would it be safe for us to stop in time?

Not sure how to tell if something will be a hazard?⚠️🤔

- How will you continue your drive?
- How will we need the car to react to the situation?

If you need to slow down or move from the centre of your lane, then it is a hazard! ⚠️

Be proactive rather than reactive to the hazard, plan how you will approach the hazard

Dont forget to check your surroundings!!
